With his genre-bending country, pop, and R&B style, Nashville singer Drew Green first garnered attention as a songwriter before catching the spotlight with his 2020 tracks "Little More Be Alright' and "Right Where I Be." Both cuts appeared on his debut EP, Dirt Boy, Vol. 1. His 2021 follow-up, Dirt Boy, Vol. 2, included the streaming hit "Hooch." The soulful standalone single "Good Ol' Man" arrived in early 2022.

Born in McMinnville, Tennessee, Green grew up on a tree farm where his family introduced him to country artists like Sammy Kershaw and Alan Jackson. During his teens he began expanding his ears as friends exposed him to a mix of hip-hop, pop, and R&B performers, including Usher, Craig David, Matchbox Twenty, and Dr. Dre. He played in bands in high school and continued to hone his songwriting skills at college. Following his graduation, Green based himself in Nashville, singing in the house band at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and working a day job at a bank, all the while pursuing a songwriting career.
